About me

As Agency Director, Georges Gaucher provides support and service to brokers and clients of Sotheby’s International Realty Quebec, in addition to overseeing brokerage operations and administration, as well as the continued growth of the brand and business throughout the province.

Georges is a renowned leader in the real estate industry, having held influential positions in various organizations, such as the board of directors and audit committee of the Greater Montreal Real Estate Board; the board of directors of the Collège de l’immobilier du Québec, the largest real estate services school in Quebec; and as director of the Organisme d’autoréglementation du courtage immobilier du Québec (OACIQ), the provincial regulatory body for the industry, and chair of its ethics and governance committee. Georges is currently a member of the board of directors of the Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA).

Before joining Sotheby’s International Realty Canada, he worked at Royal LePage. As general manager, he was responsible for supervising multiple offices and over a hundred brokers. He also served as vice president in charge of administrative offices in Eastern Canada. He has been a certified administrator and member of the Ordre des administrateurs agréés du Québec since 1996.
